Minnie Winnie 25B No Slide Out

Plan to purchase a 2015 Winnebago 25B... Seems roomy enough for two and doesn't have a slide out. Anyone familiar with this unit or have bought a Class C without slide out and regret it?

I missed the "Minnie Winnie" part of your title. Went and looked the coach up. I like the floorplan. I like the dinette AND sofa which is rare in a smaller unit. As long as the 54" wide bed is wide enough for you! We have the 60*75 which is queen width but shortened. I think 54*80 is standard "double/full" but with a corner cut off. You should still be able to use standard sheets which is a big plus.
Our first C had Cabover sleeping only. Well, a very punishing sofa that we never used. It was 24' and we would have kept it if it had any "bed down" layout but we'd decided we were too old to be climbing into "the loft" at night.
What I wanted to see was the Wheelbase. Crunching numbers, your WB is 57% of total length and that is a good thing. You should find it comfortable to drive and that it tracks well on the road. If it doesn't it should be easily fixable.
As you get closer, look up Michelin's Load-to-Pressure table and have it with you. Take a test drive that includes a truck stop and weigh the coach on their CAT scale for $10. Then adjust tire pressures to what the chart says based on the CAT weights. Now do your drive. It should behave about like it will after you buy one, but you'll want to do that again after you load people, equipment and supplies for travel.
Looks good, and Winnebago is an above average brand. 25B only offered on Ford E350 which is a rock solid chassis.

It's a Minnie Winnie 25B..... looks like I made the right choice without the slide.... The one we drove was much quieter than the Class A with a slide.....wife likes the couch opposite the dining table....I'll look for a great deal on a leftover as more 2015's hit the lot.... IF they don't have want I want, I have two dealers (one near the factory, the other in Tampa) that will order for me.. We would like to have the double glazed glass, convenience and appearance pkg, comfort and safety pkg, heated tanks, and oven on the Ford chassis.... thanks for the responses...

I'm on the side of no slides.

If you choose to look at slides be SURE to have the owner/dealer 'CLOSE' ALL the slides BEFORE you buy it!!! :B

All the ones I looked at from entry to exorbitantly priced.....when the slides where in and worse if there were multiple slides, it prohibited use of the majority of the coach. I.E. bathroom, closets, bed etc.

All I know is when I am traveling and stop to rest or sight see I want access to ALL of my MH without having to deploy Slides R Us!

That all said there are many RV'ers that like and enjoy slides.:C

I'm with j-d! After having a 34 ft 5th wheel with 4 slides, my no compromise points during my searching for a Class C was: no front window, no slides, no carpet and one airconditioner. In 2011 I decided on a 2000 Winnebago Minnie Winnie DL. 30 ft is very comfortable for me and Baby Girl (my Catahoula).

We love our Nexus. 23P (24'), and never even considered a slide for most of the reasons listed above. For us most of the rationalizations to justify "Have" to have a slide simply don't apply (no kids, one dog, like to camp/boodock etc).

You see a lot of posts from the slide loving denier crowd swearing they never have issues, always good for a chuckle, but a week never goes buy without multiple slide problem threads. Find the floor plan that works best for you slide or not, just buy with your eyes(and perhaps even a slide or two), wide open.

Oh, by the way... don't believe the nonsense that you cannot sell an RV that does not have a slide. If anything, given the proliferation of slides, those without might just be easier to sell as they become harder to find.

As always...Opinions and YMMV

I always found that there was lots of room outside. ๐Ÿ˜‰ As has been said many times in many threads on the forum, much depends on what you want in an RV. I am not anti-slide. For us it just was not a good choice. We have an 26.5' RV with no slide. I would rather have the extra CCC and easier setup. I like to camping where there are no hookups. Often the ground is not very level. Sometimes there is no place to fill the water tank which requires carrying a lot of water and stuff up the road.

I have the 2014 25B which I purchased new and I love it. I specifically did not want a slide out. This is my first RV and I wanted less moving parts to deal with. (I even worry about the awning and read the manual carefully to learn how to retract it manually should it fail - lol.) My vision is to be able to park it, use it and move it quickly with minimal setup/breakdown. Many slides restrict interior access when they are not extended. I don't tow and want to be able to move it in and out easily. Sometimes I settle in for an extended stay, other times I am on the move.
There are some corners cut in the details (i.e. faucets) but that is to be expected as this is not a luxury level RV. I have the Chevy chassis which I worked hard to find. I especially like the large exterior storage. I changed out the glass shower enclosure for an Extend-a-Rod and shower curtain. The glass looked great but was too confining. I have been using it for 9 months and have exercised all the systems without issue.

While we have an older 25 ft Winnie, it doesn't have a slide out.
I will give you one comment. Slide outs on a 25 Ft takes too much space without adding any thing extra. Here is what I mean. A slide out takes 4 inches on each side, therefore you loose 8 inches from somewhere. Usually it is in closet space, but it might be somewhere else such as bathroom.
there is no gain to a slide out except more floor space which for 2 people doesn't do much. Whene we have 2 people over, 2 sit at the bench table, one at the extra chair and we have an outdoor type chair for the 4th person.
We use that chair when watching a movie or TV.

Many of us do not have slides and do not regret it. Without slide(s) your coach is lighter, stronger, less likely to leak, and of course no mechanism to maintain or repair. We looked for a coach without a slide when we bought the current one.

Which Winnebago Series is this 25B? I'd like to pull the brochure down and look at the specs and floor plan.
