I talked to my Daughter today and informed her of a Forest River Wildwood with 2 bed rs,bath and half. Right at 40 ft. 6ft9in inside. She loved the model. Money is no problem as they made a fortune in the stock market and are selling there home in NY for nearly 2 million. I have 5 acres that they can park there RV or Grand S has 4+ acres that they can use.My SIL said a Dealer told him a 3/4 P/Up would pull a Toy Hauler with 2 BR etc , no problem. I told him no way, not safely

Do they have any RV experience? I would have to agree that it's crazy to buy big and new if they have no experience.
Perhaps someone should inform the recent influx of Covidiots who ran out and purchased their first RV this season of that advice. From what I see the vast majority bought the largest thing they could find. Some folks on this sites heads would explode if they seen some of the new rigs I have seen and what they're being towed with lol.

They'd be better off renting an apartment for a few months unless they plan on using the toyhauler for the next few years.
This. A new dually and a tow hauler is a 100K decision.
A used class A is a 25-50K decision on the cheap end.
How long will this house search take?
What is the RV budget? $25K pays a lot of rent.
100K pays even more. What are we missing?
