Picking up a new Bounder 35K 2016 Saturday

It's been a long time coming, but will be the proud owner of a 2016 Bounder 35K Saturday. Am looking forward to a new coach and hoping there won't be as much breaking in to do, like I had to do on my Damon Daybreak when I purchased it 10 years ago. I can't wait for the full body paint, washer/dryer, 10 gallons of hot water and 100 gallons of fresh water. I am done with the rotting decals, dead or dying absorption refrigerators, 10 second showers, saving up quarters for the laundromat and squeezing by my wife in the half butt kitchen, for lack of slides. It's been fun, but time to move on to a little more comfort ๐Ÿ™‚

We purchased our 2016 35K Bounder in December and just love it. The bath and half sold me, altho the vacuum discharge system when 'recharges' is a bit loud (at least mine is). Of course we have had some small issues as I am sure all coaches/trailers/rvs do. The residential refrigerator sold the wife....a happy wife..... Any way, hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours. Safe travels.

How was Dixie RV to deal With?

My experience was great! I dealt with Aaron. He and I texted back and forth, sometimes at 10:00 pm in the evenings. He went well beyond the call of duty, and never seemed to get aggravated with me bugging him. It was very busy yesterday. We had to wait our turn to sign on the dotted line, but it was a very pleasant experience.

Took delivery of the coach today from Dixie RV in Hammond, Louisiana. This was a very pleasant experience. They were extremely busy today. When I pulled out of the parking lot, I noticed at least 3 other people driving off the lot with new rigs. I love the way that the Bounder drives, and it is much more comfortable than the Damon Daybreak I owned. Will be taking it to Beaufort and Charlotte, SC next week.

Golden...we have a 2015 36Y Vista. Look in the 'upgrades' forum for my 'utility bay' post for some tips that probably will apply to your Winnie also.

Congratulations on the new coach. Personally, I think the Bounder is probably the most popular and best bang for the buck coach since the first day it came out!

Got a camping buddy with a 2015 35K. Very nice coach. Only problem he has had was a water leak either in the fridge ice maker or under the kitchen sink. Got everything fixed over the winter. We rib him a bit when the waste pump for the half bath is running. Waka-waka-waka-waka.

Gary, What do you have. I have a 2016 Winnebago Suncruiser 38Q. Working bugs out but getting there. Love the new tranny and layout. Lives so large. Friends with 45 foot Monaco Dynasty that is lovely sat in our living room and said "why does this seem so much larger than ours".

Bless your heart and "good luck". After reading about the poor workmanship and lack of quality control on "new" MH on this forum. You will surely need it.

Have a ball! We just bought our 1st new RV after decades of used units (which were all great but nothing like new if your budget will handle it)! RV's have gotten so much better over the years I'm convinced our new Winnebago will last us until we decide to 'retire' from RVing! I hope you enjoy yours just as much! Hey, somebody has to buy the new ones so others can buy used down the road!
