we have a reset switch for the propane alarm. If batteries are disconnected, we have to reset the alarm. Ours is located under the fridge along the floor.

Somewhere in the MH. along a wall close to the floor is a small device with a green light flashing if on. If it is not flashing there is a small switch, turn it on wait about 30 seconds you should hear a beep and see green flashes and will have gas to everything in MH.

The only thing I will add.........good 12V DC power so LP solenoid will open if you have an emergency trip solenoid

As for no hot water on electric......
Plugged into 120V AC power source
WH AC breaker is ON....not tripped
WH electric element ON/OFF switch ON

Still doesn't work....
Tripped T-stat
Bad element

An if Atwood.......no 12V DC power to operate AC Relay for electric element
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Here's what I'd check for the no gas situation.

1. You have propane in your tank.
2. The valve on the tank is turned on.
3. The tank selector switch (if equipped) is correctly selected.

If those check out okay, and you still don't have propane, then you probably have a malfunctioning propane regulator which needs to be changed.

or the pilot isn't lit or you may have air in the line. not uncommon when a rig has been placed in storage for a while.

1) be sure all of your appliances are off inside the RV

2) make sure the main supply valve for the LP tank is on. (for TT's and 5'ers make sure if you have dual tanks that the supply switch is set to the correct tank.)

3) turn on one of the burners on your stove and light it. you may have to hold the match against the burner for a few seconds to get the flame started and it may take as much as 30-60 seconds for the entire burner to flame up. let it burn for a minute or two as that will get the LP flowing from the supply tank after which the other burners should ignite as normal. when they do you can shut down all of the burners and try your water heater and fridge. both should ignite properly.

Propane smells quite a lot. It there is no smell coming from a stove top burner immediately, then hold a lit bbq starter over the burner, and turn it on for 15 seconds with the flame going on the starter. If any gas shows up at all, the flame will light up the extra propane.

Other than that.. see above. If you find the valve shut off then use the lit bbq lighter stick again on the stove to fill the lines before trying other things.

And, then next thing to check, and I was recently called over to troubleshoot this one.. they had not taken the hot water tank out of bypass, so no water was in the hot water tank at all. Be sure your valves for the water inlet and outlet are open, and the bypass valve is shut.
