I have a 1994 Fleetwood 30 foot P30 motorhome. It has 8r 19.5 tires on it and I need to replace them. I found a great buy on some 225 70R 19.5 tires but they are 10 ply tires? Has anyone ran any 10 ply tires on a P30 chassis?

Brand new can still be old tires. What are the last 4 digits of the full DOT number molded into one sidewall of each tire sold in N America?
That was his point.
You don't want 5 year old "brand new tires"! Best to find tires less than 1/4 year old.

How old are the great buy tires?
6 12 ply are $1000.00 which is what I run
see them here
Samson's?
samsons are chinese tires I had 4 22.5 installed on the rear of a unit a few years back I put 3500 miles on before I sold the unit they seemed fine at the time were cheap and that's what I wanted
I have 6 of them going on 2 years now with no problems.
ALMOST EVERY tire manufacturer makes tires in China although some only sell the tires in other countries. The problem is some companies do no quality control and take what are made by the Chinese and never check specs. This is mostly private label and OEM companies.

The tires are brand new 225 70 19.5 and are only $130 each. A friend is getting them for me through a relative that has access to buy wholesale auto supplies but rarely deals in tires. He can get the tires for me but he does not mount them. I will have to mount them myself which I can do.
I just want to make sure that the 10 ply tires are going to be OK on my 1994 30 foot P30 RV. I have searched and searched for original tire specs for a 1994 P30 and I can't find details. I have a chassis manual and it don't even tell me what ply tires I should use?
I hate to go back and ask for 12 ply tires if I don't need them.
