Preparing for a cold night

In anticipation of temperature at night just barely expecting to reach the magic 32 deg F, what is a good strategy to avoid any pipes freezing?

So far I plan to turn off the water pump and open one of the faucets, probably in the privy. Is there anything else I should be doing?

I don't get concerned until it gets down below 25 (as I was told by a number of long time RVers including my Dad, dealer, and 2 manufacturers in Canada).

I agree with the others.

If however it's going to get really cold and I don't want to winterize because I will be traveling soon I open the cabinets like brirene, fire up the furnace and turn the water heater on. I turn the furnace off before I go to bed, just want to get some heat inside. I also close the blinds and drape a blanket off the sleeper behind the drivers seats.

^^^^ x3. Open a few cabinet doors so the heat gets in if you want, but not really necessary.

No worries unless the temp stays at 32 for an extended period. Just an overnight drop will not be a problem at all.

If the temp is just below freezing, no problem what-so-ever. Just shut off, disconnect, and drain your fresh water hose. As soon as it gets back above freezing, you can reconnect it.

If you keep the inside of the RV at a reasonable temperature, a few hours below freezing outside will not freeze up the pipes/tanks in the RV.
