I tried to get my propane tank filled this weekend. The fill/check valve stuck closed and it would not fill..
Is there something I can do or should I take it to a propane dealer?? It's in a 31' Jayco Greyhawk.

I am leery of self fixes for propane systems. I was at a park in Alaska when an older class A pulled in next to us. The women was talking about the propane system her husband had recently modified - she said she thought she smelled gas but her husband had checked and said it was all right. The next morning when the woman went to light the gas stove the unit exploded. It rocked our class C and blew out our picture window and dented our door. Fortunately I was not sitting in front of the window at that time. The woman had to be air lifted with major burns over her entire body.
If I have propane concerns I will take it to a dealer for check and repair.

A bulk propane dealer will be able to FILL tank or Fix/Replace Fill Valve
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Take it to a propane dealer.

Most likely where you went had a marginal male fill probe.
