Running lights

My running lights at the top of the MH in front are not working. The ones in the back do. I can't locate a fuse specifically listed for that. Any suggestions on the reason? :h

First order of business, is for checking the voltage at the socket and if nothing there, then hang a small piece of wire over the side with one end on the chassis battery negative and the other, on one of the voltmeter leads. If you have it then, there's an open in the ground somewhere and maybe just from corroded and/or dirty connections.
Cleaning up the socket with emery cloth helps and of course if not paying attention, all the bulbs could have burned out over time.
Still no cigar, then the pos. wire is open somewhere and whether due to a blown fuse or other.
When checking fuses and we're talking chassis panel here, check them all and don't rely on the logo.

NRV had two fuses for marker / clearance lights separating front and back on early models. Mine are on a panel below the drivers seat on the outside. Had issue twice in 16 years one being last month but was the rear lights. All fronts on different fuse.

ALL the lights work "except" the overhead front clearance ones, thus I thought (mainly because I don't really know) that maybe there was a separate circuit for the front clearance light. I have two fuse locations, one for the chassis and one for the coach other, like windshield wipers, etc.BUT I can't seem to locate one called clearance lights etc.

Gary, the front and rear clearance lights, the side marker lights if you have them, and the headlights are probably on the same circuit. Have you tried the headlights? If so, there will be a fuse for the above in the compartment with all the other 12 VDC circuits. That's where I'd start.

thanks I will do that...also the rear marker lights do work...that is ONE of reasons I was/am confused

Gary, your front and rear marker lights should be on the same circuit from the headlight switch. I would start at the front marker lights and see if you have 12 volts to the lights themselves. Use jumper cables or a line from the battery ground terminal to verify power. If you have not power to them, start trying to trace the wiring down by going behind the TV, as not many manufactures insulate the front caps very well, and you may be able to see/trace the wire from there. It probably runs down the drivers side pillar to the switch. You have a large RV dealer in your town.
