Small C suggestions

I'm sure some of you have searched the floorplans before, so you may be able to save me a bit of leg work. Looking for a smaller C (24-27 foot) that has twin beds in the back, and a cabover bunk. Would like to find something in the 4-6 year old range due to price considerations. Gas power would be preferred, but not totaly opposed to diesel.

Would also consider something that has a full size bed, but lends itself to being converted to twins.

The wife and I downsized from a diesel pusher and we settled with the Coach House, One of the quietest motor homes around. it is very well built and for a 10 year old coach the paint job still looks like brand new.

I would never get a rig that I needed to make the bed up and down every night. I want a bed that is a bed not some cushion that makes an uncomfortable mattress. Want a separate sleep and living area. I don't eat in bed and don't sleep in the kitchen, but I do nap in the living room. Keep looking on line, I looked just a short time and found three or four different brands with the rear twin beds.

Also look at the Born Free Spirit, which is 24.5 feet on the E450. The twins are behind the cab seats. That gives a roomy rear bath. It is my dream touring motorhome.

IMHO, 26-27 foot rigs have more cargo storage room and interior cabinet space as well as elbow room. They handle and maneuver almost the same as two-foot shorter rigs. Check out spacing inside with slides retracted if rig has slides.

The Winnebago Via 25T has rear twins and an optional drop down "studio loft bed" over the front seats. Not exactly a class C, more like a little A. I think that model has been around for at least 7 years.

The LD 27 ft Mid Bath also fits your request. The bed can be used as couches and the view out the windows is special. It makes the interior seem much larger than it is.

Yes, those are definately nice... It appears the older 24v's didn't have the cab over bed. Looks like that model started in 2016. Which is a bit out of the price range.

You might look at some used Itasca Navion or Winnebago View 24V models. They have twins in the back and a pull-out sofa. Some models I think had the cab-over bed, others were made with an entertainment center option.

Is the 24' Laze Daze twin/king the model where when the driver's seat is at the rearward most travel that a little door in the wall behind the driver's seat opens up into the bathroom behind it to accommodate for the top of the driver's seat? The little trap door thing is in the wall behind the driver's seat and is what turned me off for obvious reasons. Talked to a LD rep a few months ago and he confirmed that they're still making them like that. I first looked at the LDs in 2004.

It won't be easy to find a used one. People seem to hang on to these.
