Tampa RV Super Show next week

Thurs thru Sun. Possibly the biggest RV show anywhere. I go every year just to look and compare. Bought 4 times over the years, but don't plan to trade for a few years. Still fun to see the new models and occasional nice upgrades. Probably will go smaller the next time. We seem to spend less time traveling as we get older. Oh well.

We were there yesterday and it was packed... probably had to stand in line for 30 + minutes to get in. The weather is getting colder here for the rest of the week, so with the old fart discount yesterday and the mild weather, that brought out the crowd. I'll be going back Sunday to check out some stuff we bypassed yesterday.

We are flying in for Saturday and part of Sunday before flying home. It should be interesting. I've gone to the Hershey show before, but I understand Tampa is a much bigger show.

No sure about the Thursday comment. The show opens to the public today and runs through the weekend.

Show starts wed but if you go in with a group u go in on tue. Setting in field as i respond

Darn! I flew all the way out here from California to go to the show and come to find out I can't go Thursday. I guess I'll try to find something else to do that day. :R;)

NoNoNo the show is closed on Thursday for RV'ers- I repeat do not go on Thursday...Thursday has been reserved for people who are buying tents. So unless you want to trade your RV for a tent to hike The Appalachian Trail next month do not go. :B

Actually, it starts on Tuesday, but Tuesday is industry day and you need a separate pass to get in on that day.
I fly in Monday night and will be in the Camping World booth starting on Tuesday.

.. or go to the FRVTA website and get a $1 off coupon which is good any day so you don't have to deal with the Weds. "rush" to save a dollar
