I need help locating a telescoping pole that fits on the back of a motorhome.... it telescopes up to 20/30 feet.... the base sets on the back bumper and can attach to the motorhome ladder for stability.... I've seen people put different flags on them and raise them up over their coach.... I need it so I can get my Wi-Fi directional antenna higher above my coach.... this is for areas where we camp where there is no Wi-Fi.... I hope I am communication properly.... thanking you in advance.

So you'd have 30 feet of wire that you'd have to roll up or something when it's down?

Look at the telescoping painters poles at your local big box store there are many to choose from some get very long. I use one as a antenna pole locks up tight and stays at the length I adjust it to. The first section on mine is fiberglass works great.

I have several telescoping poles. one is a Sunsetter Flag Pole. .Sunsetter advertises their patio (house) awnings on TV most summers.

There are other companies and other flag poles. Even one specifically made for your need.

30 ft? That's serious height, be sure to have something STRONG. Remember about 20ft will be unsupported.

I simply use 3/4 PVC bungeed to the ladder. I made a fitting for the top so I can attach the antenna. Also, a coupling in the middle allows me to store the two pieces in one of my bays....Dennis

Another possibility might be a fiberglass extension pole from a pruning saw. Mine extends to maybe 16 or 18 feet long overall, which might be enough by the time you get it up to bumper level.

Look at pool cleaning poles. I picked one up cheap. Made from anodized aluminum, extends to 25 feet. From Jeff's website.

Be careful. Some of those telescoping poles have a friction lock to "hold" them up. It doesn't work very well, they will drift down. I know, because I bought one to hold a Ham antenna. I finally had to drill holes in it and go to Tractor Supply for pins long enough to go through it.
There are poles that have positive mechanical latches, but they are a little more expensive. I bought one, then discovered that it is too big and heavy for convenience. It is in the front yard at the S&B now.
I use the military surplus 4 foot mast sections (eBay) for my antenna masts now. the only downside is the area required for the guy wires (dacron ropes, actually).

I like my flag pole! Thirty feet at max extension. I suggest 2x3 flags, not 3x5s.
