Little update on tires. I am the only person to request new tires under warrantee so far from Kal TIre here(they sell Michelins). They put on 4 new Michelin LTX M&S2. Seem to have better tread than the plain M&S and long treadlife warrantee.

Glad you had tires replaced. Mine are done next week. Hope winter in NB improves. No snow here. Crocuses are opening. Parsley grows all winter. I sort of miss the snow but now Snowmuch!!!

Thanks Al. We've been able to have the four tires replaced (LT 225-75R-16 M/S) at no charge by the local Michelin dealer (Boulevard Tires) in Orange CIty. The new tires are the same brand as those under recall (Michelin LTX Mud and Snow), but were manufactured in October 2013.
I had to pay to replace the spare tire which was an LTX A/S (all-season). Incidentally, the new tires were made at their Nova Scotia plant in Canada but were less expensive ($216) than what Canadian Tire asks for in New Brunswick ($234). Maybe the exchange rate explains the difference.:@

Suggest you contact your tire dealer back home as there may be a time limit on Michelin replacing these tires. Thats what my Kal Tire dealer said anyway. Or, you might get a dealer to replace them in the US, which I doubt but you can try. Bonne Chance.

Thanks for heads up. I checked with my dealer and I have the recalled tires on my Sprinter. Will have them replaced after Christmas at no cost by Kal Tire dealer here in Canada.

Saw this earlier. Some were aftermarket too, so heads up Sprinter owners, our sizes were on the list....
