Camping world had a low cost deal in installation on anything you bought from them. Don't know if it still is in effect. If you are near one give them a call. I believe the installation was around $30.00

upon closer inspection, the flap moves up and down and there is a horizontal spit or crack roughly 6 inches long in the bowl 3 or 4 inches up from the flap. starting to lean further toward replacement. once again thanks to all for the feedback.

Basically, this comes down to time and money. If you've got the money, replace the whole toilet and be done with it. Money also comes down to how long your going to own the MH and how you use it. If you got the time, buy the rebuild kit for it.

I've got a 2000 NRV SeaView and enjoy fixing things, determining how things work and so on. When my toilet broke, same as yours, I bought the rebuild kit just so I could figure out how the toilet worked. I've never took up a MH toilet so I thought it was a good time to learn. Have done tons of toilets in the S&B, but not a MH. Kit was cheap and easy to install.

So time and money come into play for me as well as a chance to learn something.

Buy a new one.

I broke one down once to repair and when I looked at the seal between the upper and lower, I had a sinking feeling contemplating re-assembly. Then I saw how many other tubes and systems were close to breaking down and I just bought a new China bowl.

Could be the cost of those parts for a '94 and its' age....IMO you're probably better of buying a new one.
I've rebuilt one twice...and it still didn't work right...then CW had a sale, bought one. (another brand)
My experience: rebuilding or replacing is NOT a big deal.

g'luck!

Thanks Old Biscuit! I'm not really that excited about tearing into the pooh funnel. I'm starting to lean in the direction of replacement. cost is also a factor. how many times do I want to yank my toilet out and fix it? none, replace it? once.

The blade sits on an actuating assembly that is operated by a cable from a front pedal or by direct linkage on a hand lever.

The bowl separates from base via screws under top lip of base.

To repair you will need several replacement parts
Bowl to base seal
Bowl/blade seal
Foot pedal cable/maybe foot pedal depends on where it has broken
OR hand lever assembly
Possible new actuating assembly
Blade seal
Blade if bad
Blade track

Throw in a new water valve and vacuum breaker

SO might as well replace that old 1994 model with a new toilet.
