I would appreciate your personal opinions, of the top quality makers of class c rvโ€™s.
Sounds like Winnebago is the best, and Thor the worse.

We are looking for a good quality used class c. Which makers should I look at after Winnebago?

given the cost and quality of these, I was a little surprised to see that a back up / rear camera was an option.

With today's wire less cameras they are an easy add-on.

Really don't need a rear camera with the large rear window in my 26' Mid Bath Lazy Daze.

Triple E and Coach House come to mind. If youโ€™re considering used, take a look at the Bigfoot ( made in Canada). They are no longer producing motor homes, but those were good units. Our โ€œusedโ€ Bigfoot has one of the highest fresh water capacities of the class c units(if that is important to you), and is well insulated for cold weather use. Of course insulation works โ€œboth waysโ€....easier to cool in โ€œhotโ€ climates. All of the above were/are โ€œpretty priceyโ€ units though.

Most of the โ€œsmallerโ€ class cโ€™s have the Ford chassis. Try for the E 450 chassis, gives a little more suspension for the heavy unit, and โ€œgenerallyโ€ has a lower gear ratio rear differential.....which gives greater towing capacity (for toads or boats), and better hill climbing performance ( nice in mountainous terrain and some campgrounds)

I think you will find condition is more important than the manufacturer.

A well maintained Thor in good condition is a better choice than a poorly maintained and beat up Winnebago.

Take your time and look at everything, when you find something you like, inspect it or have it inspected.
Use your search as a learning experience.

Enjoy your travels.
