Looks like a Kenmore or Whirlpool. Been like that since the 60's. I have a 68 model and have only changed the belt once and the Belt Tensioner twice.

Have you noticed that something is always broke? If it ain't the car it's the dryer, or the RV, or the water heater, or the air conditioner, or the towel rack, or (fill in the blank)_____.

Oh Yeah I painted the 63 because it was Pink from the factory...LOL It had to go some how......:S
Rollers? Well I had a friend that painted his car with a whiskbroom. I used a pump up weed sprayer to stain a shed once - looked ok.... Good luck with the job oldtrucker.

OT63, I guess you're using a air compressor and a paint gun. I know this aint the way you wanna go, I just think it has some cool factor. Check out this video. This guy goes to walmart, buys rustoleum, thins it down with mineral spirits and shoots his dads car. It actually turns out pretty great and it's cheap. Some folks are using foam rollers too. Probably get a better job with a spray gun. The roller idea would eliminate over spray issues. Definitely has some redneck engineering but, if I had a ride I wanted to stay cheap on I would definitely go the way of the redneck. Check out the shine in the second video.

Once I get it all done, And get the striping painted on, and trim everything out, I think it will look ok, being that I was the one who done it all....LOL
Haha...you are taking me back in time about a month ago when I did mine. It took me a couple weeks to do just the exterior paint scheme. Add another two weeks for all of the small details...(door jambs, under hood, inside of all cabinents, etc)
*I still have undercoating to do, to complete my rig, but I threw in the towel. ("I'll finish that next spring)
**Painting my rig was pretty complicated and time consuming...I am so thankful it is done. I am sure you'll feel the same when you get there too..
***It is very rewarding knowing that it is done and doesn't need attention like that again for a long time!!
