We're going to be arriving in Elkhart Indiana, probably tomorrow, and will be staying for at least a few days. Rig is due for an oil change, and we should probably get one on the toad as well. Any suggestions on somewhere reasonable that can take a big rig? Class A 27ft.

No Speedco. Michiana Mobilube does a great job.

Check to see if there is a Speedco near you.

Thanks for the info! We've called the campground and they say they have plenty of space, so Will try and set something up with mobile lube. Would rather not be driving the rig around town.

Personally, I change my oil and filter every 3-4000 miles. But when I take a "snowbird" trip, the mileage is around 5300. Upon returning home, I THEN change the oil and filter. The oil lasts and the motor don't care. Never a problem. (but don't make a habit out of it.)

I would not let Walmart touch any of my vehicles.

Never seen a Walmart that will do it. Our local Walmart would not do it.

We stopped at a place in Albuquerque that was just one of the Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations. We were driving by and noticed that they had high doors and I stopped and asked. They said no problem and I didn't even have to disconnect my toad. I just pulled in over the pit with the RV and then pulled forward and positioned the toad over the pit. For my gasser coach it was about $40 for an oil change in both vehicles and took maybe 45 minutes total.

Your profile isn't complete - it doesn't say what your MH is and if it has a gas or diesel engine?

If you are staying at Elkhart Campground..contact Michiana Mobile Lube, they will come to your campsite and do the job. They are located within two blocks of the campground. They have done our DP and Onan generator at the campground, at our apartments and The Elkhart County Fairgrounds. They were referred to us by our favorite Elkhart area service provider, Charger Enterprises.

We use a Ford dealership for our class A and the toad will go to Fiat or Dodge.
some folks use Wal Mart, even for their dp's.
