Water in basement compartment - 1997 Dutch Star

I'm getting water into one of my 'basement' storage compartments. On this 1997 Dutch Star 3455, this is the second compartment behind the door on the curb side of the MH, right below the furnace. No other compartments affected.

The water is getting into the compartment via a seam in the aluminum panels at the top of the compartment ... but, how the water is getting there, I haven't a clue (shades of Jimmy Buffet). The MH roof isn't leaking, the refrigerator drain isn't the culprit, and I don't think it's from the plumbing. I can see the plumbing, under the kitchen sink, no leaks, everything dry there. Everywhere that I can see the floor area, inside cabinets, all along that side, things are dry. This is a fairly slow process ... the water is dripping, not running.

The water appears to be clean, no funny smells, slime, etc.

I plan to also contact Newmar, to see if they can offer any suggestions.

Could there be a leak in your dump bay that is working it's way across to the other side? That happened to us recently when the hose to the water filter was leaking. It doesn't take long for water to travel. Good luck!

How about the pop off valve on the water heater?

I have had sealed compartments fill up with a couple of inches of water, turned out it was condensation, I drilled a few holes, problem solved....

Jim, I hope this doesn't apply to you! I had a similar situation over a decade ago. I had rodents chew a hole in my water line. Suspect was a someone in my neighborhood feeding rodents decon. You couldn't see the area where the leak was, and the RV Shop had to cut holes in the flooring to splice the water line.
