Went down to the repair shop to look at my motorhome; been there two months now awaiting to get it repaired. Been there so long I almost forgot what it looks like. We leave for the summers in May, maybe by that time I'll have it.
Went to look at another motherhome, made an offer, haven't heard anything about that yet.

Replace the big old boat anchor TV in the bedroom today. Found a 25.5" Samsung that fit in my existing space with no trimming or adding trim. All I had to do was prefabricate a bracket to secure it the the bottom of the case. Now I have a nice clear picture.

Winterized it! ๐Ÿ˜ž

Jackwelch - sorry about your dog. I have one that turned 15 on Halloween and she is going downhill. I know what's soon to come and am dreading that day.

Replaced the no good house Interstate batteries, with some Costco golf cart batteries. $75.00 each.....................way cheaper than the Interstates. Washed and waxed about 1/2 of it today, will try to get the rest done tomorrow.

Today I replaced all the seals and ball on our Sealand travlers toilet. I was sort of suprised that we already need to replace the ball seal, but when I contacted Sealand they said on RV's 4 to 5 years is commen. I guess it is because they dont get used enough. Anyways Sealand has upgraded their seals since 2003 and the newer seals are suppose to be better. I bought the whole toilet rebuild kit and there were many upgrades. The original ball shaft was plastic with one o-ring, then new shaft is brass with two o-rings, the ball seal is actually two seals instead of one seal, I guess this is suppose to be the seal upgrade they made. The water valve was suppose to be the same, but the new one seams to fill better.

Then after that my father in law came over and helped install the digital coverter box. What a pian in the butt. Pulling the TV was one issue, but then we have a full suround sound system and we could not get it to work with the antenna. It worked fine with the DVD player, but not the antenna. We finally got it to work, but dont ask me how!We did not even work on the rear tv. I think we will be investing in new didgital TV's next year. I also need to add the Wingman as I think I will get more channels.

Today was a tough day for me and my wife as we spent it cleaning dog hair our of the coach...a ten year accumulation as we bought the coach new in 1999. The hair belonged to our mixed breed terrier that we rescued from the pound ....she was 14 in October...and had an inoperable cancer and we had to put her sleep last week. Worst day of our lives.
So we gathered up her favorite toys and her many beds and sent them off to the trash. The hardest was the bed on the dash of the motorhome where she rode on every trip over those ten years and kept an eye on the road and passing vehicles....unless she was asleep..
She loved to travel and smelled every blade of grass in every campground or rest stop in the West....and there were lots of both

We tell ourselves she will be our last dog but we have said that twice before. But we just hope she is riding along somewhere up there, barking at the dog in the motorhome next door or curled up in a lap and sleeping like a baby. She was our baby and she is really missed.

Sorry to read about you losing your doggie. I am with you that it really hurts to lose your pet. We lost our poodle a few months ago and we think of him all the time. I wanted to get an identical silerado poodle, but the wife does not want me to. So I put all his pictures as my screen saver on my computer. That way I know he will always be remembered.

Installed a couple of latches, cleaned the vent screens, and worked over the hot water heater. Then this MN guy sat in the shade of it, looked at the lake, and read a Clive Cussler book while enjoying the fine weather. You just have to love those MH's.
