Put two nuts on the exhaust manifold/pipe flange bolt that had lost it's nuts! Hopefully they will stay this time.

Also attached and old car mount stand for a Nokia bag phone to the side of the driver seat stand with an adjustable cup holder on the business end. Now I can position my cup exactly where I want it.

Put this on the list for what is planned to be done over the next two or three days:

Replace both front and rear obslolete picture tube TV's with HD LCD units.
Replace obsolete AM/FM/Cassette player with AM/FM/MP3 compatible CD player complete with USB and SD card slots.

Modify wiring on said radio to run on coach power instead of chassis power to have music playing capacity in coach.

Install tachometer and transmission temperature gauges.

Fix problem with dash HVAC controls that have it currently stuck on defrost.

Run necessary wiring to be able to play TV audio on said new stereo.

I added two more baggage latches to two of the slideout basement doors. I love these damn things. The door is up and out of the way. No hitting my head.

I removed the ten year old built in coffee maker that came with the rv. It didn't work very well, the wife didn't like it and it wasn't exactly visually appealing.

I glued on a rubber bumper thing to the wall where the toilet lid hits. It always clangs against the wall. Now not so much. I plan on putting a handle on top of the toilet lid to make it easier to lift.

Also bled the brakes or rather flushed the brake system. I haven't done it since I bought it four years ago. I just bought a mighty vac vacuum bleeder thing and ran almost two quarts of fluid through brake system. The fluid was dirty, now it is clean....

Just re did the kitchen back splash. Took off the little mirror above the stove and then used tumbled marble in a brick pattern all the way around the window to the sink area. Looks awsome.

Ill post pics later.

Im also fixing some body damage caused by a frozen awning. Since Ill have the paint gun out later this month I plan on painting the stripes on the inside of the slides to give the coach a higher end look. Always liked the way the coaches had their stripes flow around the slides. Ive gotten pretty good with a paint gun painting on my race car.

Here is a pic of the old back splash. New pic to come after this thunder storm passes...

Here is a link to a thread posted here some time ago:

http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/23645665.cfm

We just had ours done using a product called "Drop And Stay" a very heavy vinyl plank material. I was a lot of work:
Tearing out old carpet, removing dash, toilet, dinette, setee etc. We hired a couple of neighbourhood kids to strip the carpet etc out, then took the rig to an RV shop where the work was done by a flooring contractor. The slides did not have to come out fortunately, but it was still a 4 day job, not cheap but we think it will be worth it in the long run and it looks great.

Yesterday we drove to Lake Erie to visit ours, we had loaned it to our daughter and her family for the long weekend.

How difficult is it to remove the carpet and replace with laminate?
I'm still trying to find a recliner with seat belts from a wreck or at salvage price if anyone knows how to help me?

Took it out for a short drive yesterday, found a 1.5" bolt and lock washer on the top step when the door openned. Got under there this morning and found only 1 of the four bolts holding the square plate which carries the large toothed gear that brings the steps in and out. Two other bolts were bearly screwed in. I retightened all four bolds with their lock washers, and will be checking them frequently, but probally just a poor initial installation from new, we'll see.
Then I proceeded to use the left over Gel-Gloss from finishing the fibreglass roof, on cleaning/polishing the acrilic bath sink & shower walls, stainless kitchen sinks and corian counters. Gel-Gloss really works well on all these surfaces.
I buy it at Home Depot in the states, and at Canadian Tire in Canada.

I cut some really thick clear vinyl and attached it to the top and bottom of the screen door with velcro.

I like the look of plexiglass that many people have used but I want to be able to easily switch between a screen door and a 'storm' door to keep the drafts out in cooler weather. We don't worry about keeping the cold air in since the weather here is that warm. It makes a huge difference with cool windy weather.

I just take it off when I want and roll it up. Even though it isn't optically clear like glass, it works very well and you can still see very easily through it.

I also replaced the cable operated black tank dump valve with a t-handle valve; no more leaks.
