Haven't driven it yet, spent the rest of the day trying to finish a tree house for my 5yr old.

Do you think the new grey water valve will improve the handling? Let us know the results, it would be an inexpensive way to get that.

Replace the front 26" CRT TV with a 32" LED TV. Tomorrow I need to finish up the cabinet work.

Got my Onan parts manual today and went out to the RV what parts I need to get the Genny in good shape. The Cummins/Onan folks now tell me that unless I have the parts book $19.96 from them) I haven't a chance of being able to order anything. I do recommend this to anyone with one of these because the exploded views make it easier to work on it.

Received an email that our motor home is in from Tiffin and at the dealer's lot. We now need to schedule a day to pick it up.

Bought a 50 amp extension cord, mirrors and wiper blade covers, water hose, and maintenance log book. CW has the 30' 50 amp cords on sale this weekend for $133 (pc price).

The strut for my one compartment by the water heater started to give me problems last year. I was working on the WH at the time.

The bottom of the strut attaches to a bracket and one of those screws broke off. I checked online at this place call Philadelphia Boat Supply for replacement parts. I checked their application chart and they recommended against using a strut over 60 PSI with a bracket. The (non-original) strut on my compartment was 100 PSI. I ordered a 60 PSI strut ($8 plus shipping).

So I got everything installed and it works great.

Tonight while my husband worked his "part-time during early retirement job....because his wife works fulltime 7:15 a.m - 4:15 p.m" I repacked items unloaded in the fall, so they don't freeze and more supplies for our spring vacation. Sure would have liked to just have loaded the rest and left BUT, as I said I still have a full time job. I really need to buy lottery tickets to have a chance at early retirement!!!! Time to travel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Replaced 19 quarts of oil plus the filter. Had to put a cheater bar on my 1/2" breaker bar to get the filter off....man, I must have really torqued it down last time. Then I replaced both fuel filters after I filled the new ones with fresh diesel. Then, feeling pretty good about myself, drained the Allison 3000 and pulled both filters out and replaced them and refilled with 19 quarts of Transynd. I still need to replace the massive air filter and the hydraulic (powwer steering) filter, lube the drive shaft and front suspension/steering and then jump on the 8K Onan generator and replace the oil, oil filter, fuel filter and finally the air filter. Whew!

Since the snow has started serious melting, we went to the local registar and bought 2011 tabs for the motor home. Down to $149.

Replaced the inverter,the dog switched the old one on with his tail,when plugged in to shore power. One clever dog if you ask me!well thats the story DW gave me!
