Brought it back to Canada after spending the winter in Mexico. A beautiful sunny day today, but a little cooler than we have been used to. ๐Ÿ™‚

Look at it sitting deep in a snow bank. Still close to 2 feet of snow around the poor thing!

Yup, ours is sitting in it's garage with 1.5 feet of an ice/snow mixture in front of the people door. Tonight we're supposed to get freezing rain to really seal things.

Added a 10 LED motion light to the first inside step, now when I open the door in the dark that step and the outside steps light up and it uses 3 AA batteries, and it is only on for about 15-20 sec.

Well,
I've never been real satisfied with the little AMBER light, that lights up (or tries to) under the step when the door is open on our '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the 330 CAT. So, today, I removed it and installed two, LED side marker lights from Auto Zone. Way, way better and seriously brighter for seeing those steps at night when you don't want the porch light on. And, you could leave that door open for the rest of my life and it won't phase the house batteries at all.

Today we are checking on tire prices, need 4 rear tires for our '04 Horizon, and planning a trip to see the grand kids for a few days. They're only 2.5 hours away but then we can take our dogs and cat with us. Happy Easter!

Took out my Converter, and ordered a new one as this one is not working at all. Will be installing it myself hopefully next week.

I also cleaned my front curtain and got it back up. It was DIRTY!! We just got it last year and it's a 2001. I took them down and put them in some Oxyclean in the bathtub. The water was rust colored in less then 1 minute. Still a residual of water stains, but holy cow it looks great compared to what it was. We will be washing again at the end of the season.

Yesterday in the shop for to replace the heatpump. plus other minor4 services.

Today back in for gen service & lof and a good look around below. Tech found broken bracket that holds coach above the frame! lof will be delayed until tomorrow. They'll repair the frame today! We had noted that the left rear sometimes looked lower!

Repainted all of the ugly and faded compartment and entry door handles to match the motorhome. Fleetwood used Sherwin Williams automotive paint. Armed with the color codes, I had Sherwin Williams mix up the paint for me in aerosol cans. I removed all of the handles first, prepped them and applied three coats of paint and three coats of clear coat. Iโ€™m really happy with the way they turned out. Below are some before and after photos.

Applied tan colored EternaBond Tape today to all of my roof seams. Roof caulking is now a thing of the past! :C

Craig
I am getting ready to do that is it easy to apply?

It was actually a little more difficult than I anticipated. The radius corners proved to be the most difficult because they created unwanted wrinkles in the tape. I did the seam along the rear end cap by myself. After that, I called my son and had him come over and help me lay down the rest. We found it works best if one of us applies the tape while the other keeps the EternaBond roll nice and taunt. This cut down on the amount of air bubbles and wrinkles. I highly recommend the optional heavy steel roller EternaBond offers. It was expensive, but helped a great deal.
