I see the other types of RV's having this type of thread. I did a search and could not find one here. 🙂

Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

We have been on the road with Minnie for four days now. We spent the first three days in Hershey Highmeadow campground while going to school to keep up our licenses. On Friday we drove over to Lancaster and are staying at the White Oak campground. Plan to go to a show today at Sight and Sound theater. I am writing this while sipping coffee and enjoying a wonderful cool morning with a nice breeze. First longer trip with our new B. We are not regretting our decision to downsize.
See you on the road,

Exercised the external generator and getting it ready for the weekend. (Boondocking)
Loaded up the Class B last night with misc. things.

Switched the fridge from electric to propane. I placed a couple of beers in it and this morning they were nice and cold. (I did not drink them/that is tonight :C More will be stocked )

The fridge did not cool during the really hot summer which I have come to understand now with it not having a compressor and it having to sit in the sun. It has been cool the last two nights and the low 80's during the day. I also placed a garden umbrella where the outside fridge compartment it is which seemed to help keep the sun out.

Took a trip to Spring Green, WI and visited The House on the Rock. What an amazing place. We spent 4 hours there and didn't see it all. Spent the night at Governor Dodge State Park that is just a short distance from The House on the Rock, what a beautiful park. The sites are spacious and secluded. They have bike and horse trails right in the park, and another State bike trail close by. Looking forward to going back and riding more of the bike trails.

I need to do that same revision. Can you send me a description and maybe a picture. Seems like more people would want to do this. My onan on a Coach House would not keep running. I just purchased this 1996 and it must have been standing without exercise for many moons. It only has 23 hours on the clock. Well the first thing I noticed is that someone filled the crank case sith oil. I siphoned out until I got the correct level on the stick. Then it would run but not pull the air or microwave. Next I put seafoam through the carburator air cleaner and now it runs smooth and pulls all the appliances. Your system would make it easy to add the additives directly to the fuel line close to the generator's carb. Thanks for sharing that mod!

Added a remote control and air compressor the Ride-Rite airsuspension on the Sprinter Pleasureway. Much easier that filling at the gas station or using a bicycle tire pump.

Took the vintage B (1985) in to have the propane system checked out today. Something had chewed through one of the lines. They replaced it, checked out the stove, heater, and hot water. Everything is working fine now. They also replaced the flush valve on the back of the toilet and fixed a leaky water line. Mechanics could not believe how good condition everything was in. They said it was built solid and anything they sell now won't last near as long. Using it at a show next week and then my wife and I are taking it on our first camping trip. It will be towing the canoe/kayak trailer up to the Adirondacks.

We didn't do this mod today, but it's been one of the most useful. It always bugged us that the big red light on the water heater goes out after the gas ignites. We'd often forget to turn it off. Now we have a red LED that stays lit when the water heater is on, and wonder why it's not a standard feature.

After buying my 2004 P/W Ford TD in Florida I drove it to the bay area a couple of weeks ago. Been doing projects on it since. Just finished the backup camera install among other things. Loaded up the stuff from my 93 P/W. Whew.

Cleaned out and reorganized the storage and threw out or repaired stuff that I no longer use or can not use and went through the closet and washed older stuff and whittled the clothes down to the basics ( again )-seems like every 2 years there's twice as much stuff on board than I started with. Filled the water tank and gas tank and ran the generator and checked the circuits and appliances

I installed my Garmin voice command GPS and my back up camera in my 1996 Coach House 192TB. I also installed a digital converter for the analog TV/VCR. I could not find an AC/DC TV that would fit in the TV closet so I did the next best thing. Reception in my drive way gets me 13 off channels but not ABC, NBC or CBS. Disappointed!
