Yesterday, I drove mine to work to "excercise" it. I have driven it to work twice in the two weeks I have owned it.

In the two years I owned my Class C, I drove it to work ZERO times. :E

Fixed a pivot point on my awning. It broke because I failed to WD40 everything before moving it. Part cost $32.00. Labor free. me. Expensive lesson.

Our Great West Van Legend is completely emptied out now. It seemed as if the stuff never stopped coming out. Who knew we had a golf umbrella tucked away? 🙂 So today the detailing begins. My wife announced her chore today was to furniture polish all the cabinets and scrub the front cab rubber floor. I'll detail the exterior storage box and fiber glass cover lids and put a new 3" dump cap on. Soon I'll have to do an extra cleaning of the exterior.

It is is top notch condition only we recently discovered the air conditioning compressor is not kicking in and it just blows air. So we will take it in for repairs on Tuesday. I'm not sure what that will mean yet but it has to be fixed to sell. It is not fuse or breaker related.

I am getting close to finishing up a major modification. Our original Onan Microlite 2800 generator had some major parts fail after 9 good years of use, and I decided to install a new 2800 rather than repair the old one. The issue though was that in the nine years since ours was new, they have made major changes in the generator designs, and it was so different that I had to re-design all of the mounting hardware, and relocate all of the electrical connections compared to what it used to be. I am down to fabricating a new exhaust pipe, cause that has totally changed also. I sure hope when I go to fire it up it all works great, cause it really has been a big job. I'll post how all is going after it is running.

Started putting in provisions for trip to Bar Harbor Maine. Checked fuses to see if a bad fuse is causing the Sirius radio to have no power. Fuses look good.

Did nothing yesterday. Rained all day. Few projects today. Still trying to understand the water system in my head. Have to clean filter today. Also hem and hang shower curtan. Everything works well.

Cleaned up after 5 days in the Plumas National Forest. Picked up our lifetime National Parks senior passes for only $10 each. Now is the time to buy the senior passes as I am told they will go up substantially next year! Five days of B bliss now back to work for a month then 14 more days of fun! By the way I averaged 21 mpg in the Sierras!

Sat in Orlando Freightliner for 8 hours with starter problems and needing the routine service. After 7 hours they came back with service completed to the tune of $600 and a quote for replacing the starter. I believe my husband said the quote was $1600. Also, everytime we have service they change a glow plug at no charge. This time they were going to charge us. Ofcourse the check engine light is still on. He said it seemed like things had changed at Orlando Freightliner. We walked out without the starter replacement. Wonder if we could do it ourselves?
