Why tint?

Here you go....Precut auto tint. they also sell uncut rolls of whatever width (20" or 40"), length (1',5',10'20' or more) and percentage (5%,20%,35%, and lighter) of tint you want.
I`de go with their Solar Guard brand. I just tinted my car and will be doing the wifes minivan front windows. 35% is perfect as it`s not too dark and cuts the sun and heat coming in.
Lumar is supposedly the best, but I couldn`t find it anywhere by the roll. There are other places out there that sell it the same way.
Good luck!

The tinting on my RV windows is four or five yrs old now & is starting to fade and bubble; time to redo. I used "Gila" brand from one of the cha. Anyone out there do your own window tinting that's lasted 5+ years or so? If so, what brand did you use?

I bought Removable Limo Tint 'just' to see if I would like having my windows professionally tinted. I practiced with it on the toad first.
I went to WM and bought their 'removable' limo tint. It is a heavier thickness than the cheap removable tint which is why I think it lasts longer.
Cut, lots of soapy water and put on.........8 years later it is STILL on and NO bubbles or peeling!:B Go figure.
I think the key is really squeegeeing it good. I actually bought a package kit for the permanent type just to get the hand held hard rubber window tint squeegee and threw the rest of the kit out.
Sold the toad and that Removable Limo Tint is going on 10 years with new owner!
Needless to say I never had the windows tinted professionally and IMHO when I go to sell the MH not all RV'ers like tinted windows soooo the new owner can simply just take it off!
I read somewhere that the thicker type of tinting was blurry to see out of. How did you find it to be?
