All in all it actually took the hit pretty well. The fix should not be that bad. All of the damage seems to be limited to one area.

It was a Monaco Dynasty and the door was jammed but was pryed open. It looked like the driver dropped two wheels of the pavement and couldn't get it back on the road before hitting the guard rail. A wrecker came but the owner had the driver get back in the MH and try and start it. When it started he was able to back it onto the road and they drove it away.

First...my sympathy to the parents of that beauty.

Second... to the driver :S

Actually, I'm amazed at how the motorhome stood up to that guardrail. And from the striping design, it looks like a Monaco Dynasty.

Good to see that the exit door isn't crushed as the driver took up a good bit of guardrail.

Safe travels,
MM.

This shop owner learned a really hard lesson today. No Good Deed Goes Unpunished. In my shop the customers were required to deliver and pick up the vehicle being repaired. If a vehicle was damaged during a test drive it is unfortunate but when you are doing a favor for a customer and the favor goes south, as in this instance, all you get is a tough and expensive lesson. I can guaranty that this shop will no longer do pick ups or deliveries.

Worthless ink.
There are too kind of negligence, simple and gross. You legally cannot sign away gross negligence. There is no doubt this is gross neg. and the dealer is 100% liable.

Those liability limitations are just gibberish meant to scare folks......

Courts have ruled against them over and over.

This one will depend on whether shop was still in possession of coach OR was driver acting as coach owners agent.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Glad no one was hurt in the wreck, but even if he wasn't at fault, the mechanic/driver is about to get hurt, if not by the owner of the RV, by the owner of the shop and/or his insurance agency. At the very least, it may be years before he lives this one down . . . "Hey, Ed, remember back in 2015 when you wrecked that RV and took out a half-mile of guardrail?"

That's why I don't like others driving my vehicles. But, sometimes it is necessary.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
