Breakfast Ideas For RV?

A lot of my camping is done close to home so 95% of the time I simply commute to work from the campground. On those mornings I'll simply have a bowl of cereal, donut, granola bar. Something quick and easy. When I have an off day while camping I enjoy some scrambled eggs, sauage, bacon, hash. Not all of these things at once though. lol

I'm looking for other alternatives for breakfast. Anything interesting? We have campers so we're not really limited.

I really like a fast and simple omelette with peppers and onions that can be eaten alone or made into a breakfast burritos, maybe add some cheese or other ingredients.

This works perfectly and is healthy too..... just shake and pour.

On a simpler note a pot of properly prepared grits with some butter and/or cheese always makes me smile

If you have pie irons they are great for breakfast sandwiches of all sorts. I scramble eggs and cook bacon and sausage. You assemble the sandwich with a spoon of eggs, bacon and or sausage, cheese. Put the iron in the coals for a few minutes, turn it,cook for a few more and ENJOY. You can make an infinite kinds of sandwiches and yummy creations with pie irons. Cast iron is nice but heavy for youngins to handle. Aluminum irons are cheaper and work very well and will last as long as you do not leave them laying in a roaring fire. Pie irons can be used for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks or desserts. They are very versatile. Search pie irons and you will be amazed what you can do with them.

Pancakes, etc. are easy. Breakfast burritos, breakfast pizzas, omelets, cream of wheat, oatmeal. If you have a campfire, you could do breakfast kabobs.

Since you're camping, I assume you can have a campfire. If so, you can really expand your breakfast repertoire by using a Dutch oven. Here's a link to a site with lots and lots of breakfast ideas. Even if you don't want to go the Dutch oven route, it will give you lots of ideas for different approaches to breakfast.

We often do burrito's for breakfast....scramble an egg, add whatever veggies, cheese and or meat you might have...quick and easy...good way to use up some leftovers also....
