If I had one of these, I'd volunteer to peel apples all day long.

For wife's annual holiday-pecan-pie baking marathon I bought one of these a few years back.

I have an apple peeler that isn't as fast as that one, but don't think I could afford that or that pineapple peeler. I bought a pineapple peeler, corer, slicer for about $15 and love it. You can use it for just peeling and coring and spears as well. And neither one of them take up much room for storage.

What can I say! A little fun is good medicine especially with all the negativity lately on the news.

Why do people peel potatoes?

Sometimes I like creamy mashed potatoes and sometimes I like them with just a little peel in them.

I cut ours in half or thirds, depending one the size, and boil them. I then run them through a ricer, skin and all. The potatoes come out and the skin stays in, it's so easy it's a surprise it isn't illegal.
I also make spaetzle with it once in a great while and you can use it for ricing squash for soup.

Can't figure out what drawer I'd put the pineapple corer in when I'm done....
