Android question

Didn't want to disturb the Android vs. Apple topic so thought I's start my own - I've got a Samsung Galaxy S5 with 16 GB of memory, and an additional 16 GB microSD card installed. Is there any way I can move some of my installed apps from the internal memory to the SD card? The internal memory is close to full, but the SD card is almost empty, and I can increase the size of the SD card at will if I start to fill it up.

If you need a phone you might want to look at the Samsung A51 or a Samsung 10. Our kids have the Samsung 10 and absolutely love it.I have not researched the difference between the 2 yet. A51 is a low priced(relatively) priced entry.

Samsung seems to have made 128G standard on a majority of their phones.

One thing which can usually be moved easily are photos, Try moving them either to the sd card or the cloud and see if the phone then works better. If not,,,, as mentioned before, consider a newer phone with more storage.

I have tried this and I gain minimal breathing space on storage. Start saving your money for a new phone.

I have a Samsung J7 and on mine I go to 'settings' - 'appliations' - then I select the 'application' I want to move to the SD card and then I select 'storage' and if it can be moved to the SD card it will give you the choice. Keep in mind that not all app's can be moved to the SD card.
Hope this helps.
