Camping World internet sales

Maybe someone can help me,i see an item on the Camping World website for an item that says internet price 112.07 with free shipping.The reg price of this item is 139.99.Does anybody know if I can walk into my local CW store and buy this item for the 112.07? And yes I have already called my local CW but keep getting put on hold,and when someone does answer,they just put me on hold again for the next dept.

I sure do like having a camping world in town where I can pickup things I need now and where I can get reasonably good (about the best I get in most places) assistance in installation. My store has helped find generator specialists when they didn't have the ability to fix it. I try to support them as much as possible

GS monitors all the forums...and yes, it's up to each store whether they will honor the internet price. They will include the shipping cost as well, which I think is fair as you would have to pay that anyway. Apples for apples....Dennis

Last year I was in Camping World in Bridgeport NJ buying Dicor Lap Sealant. The tubes were on sale on the internet for $2 less than the store price. I asked the cashier about the internet price. She went into the computer and was able to click on internet sale price to override the store price.

So they can give you the internet sale price if they want to.

WHy do they keep putting you on hold? better question is,, why are you wanting to deal with in the first place

Some posters in this forum have stated the stores will honor the internet price but will add the shipping charge. In other words, the stores will not honor the internet price.

Try printing the price and walking in to the store to see if they will honor. That said when on line stores usually have cheaper prices it's because of things like high stock level, and low overhead. Buying something on line means they can eliminate costly things like payroll for the cashier and real estate. So you probably will find it's an on-line only deal. But you could try.
