Camping World SLOW Shipping and hard to reach

I ordered a few supplies from Camping World 9 days ago, and my order still states "processing" with no tracking info. Been on hold for a super long time with customer service. Going camping soon and I am pretty sure we won't receive our order by the time we leave. If you need items quickly I strongly advise you to order from another company.

Camping World has invested in a new Online Ordering and Distribution System. Our plan was to install the new system prior to the camping season. Unfortunately, our Programmers encountered challenges that caused a delay of the launch and additional unforeseen challenges during the launch which have caused delays to store shipments and online orders. Our teams are working tirelessly to get the new system working properly and have made great strides. Our Distribution Centers are ready for the season and full of product. Currently, trucks are rolling with product to our Super Center locations. Online orders are being processed and expedited. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that we are working very hard to correct this situation.

Part of the order that I was told had not shipped yesterday, arrived today on my doorstep. I have cancelled this order and we have already purchased the items locally, thus I need to return these things. I have not opened the box, and need a postage paid return label in order to return them to camping world. What is the best way to rectify this?

I found many years ago I could get items at my local dealers shop for less than pres club prices and I didn't have to join a club to get those prices, plus I don't have to pay shipping

I think one of the facts we miss is CW is a retail, bricks and mortar store that also has an on-line presence. Amazon has no bricks and mortar stores to worry about and I expect them to be faster and more precise at on-line sales and service.

A few months back we ordered an item from WalMart. Took them 10 days to process the order and one day to deliver. Again, I don't expect them to have the on-line ability of Amazon.

Amazon may be cheaper but go to their store and ask to let them touch and hold what you're buying. Oh wait, you can't do that.

CW has stated on here that their transition to a new program to ostensibly serve us better didn't go well. I hope the new program satisfies our wants better when implemented.

WHAT ?? This is pathetic.

After spending close to $800 for some fairly simple service, I expect better than that. MUCH BETTER.

I stopped at Auto Zone and got a free sticker.

For future reference, I have found that I can order (just about anything that CW offers) at Amazon for less and much quicker shipping. I also have had problems with CW in the past and just don't understand why they cannot provide the same service (on-line) that Amazon does. It seems that these negative posts on CW ordering/shipping are getting more and more prevalent.

That said, whenever I'm in a town with a CW store, I will more often than not, stop in and purchase something.

Based on all the bad press CW gets on this forum there is no way I will do any business with them. Back in the day they were a pleasure to do business with.

Finally got in touch with customer service by phone. Thanks for offering to help online, Mark. I really appreciate it.
One item was back ordered, though listed as "in stock" online.
The other items, though ordered 8 days ago, were not yet shipped. I was told that the systems have changed? I was able to cancel my order.
