Looking for a compact, powerful rechargeable hand vacuum suitable for quick vacuuming of common areas on a daily basis as well as getting down in the nooks and crannies behind seats, cushions, mattress and storage drawers.
Open to a stick vacuum with detachable head as that would help with floors, just trying to think how it would get stowed out of the way.

We have a Dirt Devil Versa Cordless (3 in 1 Stick Vacuum). It is light weight, recharges fast, and works for home or in an RV.

I have a truck camper with very limited storage space, so a DeWalt 20v 1/2 gallon wet/dry shop vac is the answer. We travel with our cat, so it makes cleaning up in the litter box compartment a breeze. It's very powerful, can handle any type of mess, has a hose for nooks and crannies, and uses the same batteries as my impact driver I also carry.

how long dows the battery last? with the camper we just use a broom and a swiffer wet mop, the rv we have a shark rechargable stand up stick style vacume as we have carper in there. but that little dewalt looks sweet.

30 year full timer here—after much trial and error we find the Dyson cordless vacuums to be the answer. Yes, they are expensive if you buy the latest and newest. Look for a refurbished one or a used one. They are great and break down in to a very small unit which is easy to store.
