Tried to search but couldn't find anything relevant.

Thinking of going to Coats Rica - is it possible to convert maps from Open Streets or Google maps to a format the a Garmin GPS will read?

I will also buy a paper map!!

Thx in advance.

I have used this to do some conversions. I did some from text to Google map and I did some to Garmin maps. It took me a couple of times to get the maps correct. Hope this helps.

The easiest thing is to go to Garmin and buy a mini-SD card loaded for Costa Rica. I say that assuming that they'll have one. I bought one from them for Mexico several years ago when we went to Guad.
