Here is the URL of their Contact with Chat. I complete the above information along with my Dish Account # and then save it so I can cut and paste the information quickly during the chat session.

I have always called. And that has never been a problem. But I am curious as to exactly what information you include when you initiate a chat to expedite the process.

Yes... I keep a set of pre-written text scripts on file for parks we frequently return to, along with a "Fill in the blanks" script for new locations. Having almost everything written out ahead of time saves both time and errors. And as ChinDog said, how often you change locations doesn't matter. I've even changed our location twice in the same day with no problem.

Thanks all for your responses. From your posts it appears this will be a viable option.
I will be going from cable to dish in our home as well so I’ll be using one of the receivers in the RV. Sure dread getting familiar with their DVR, programming their remote where it’ll operate their equipment as well as mine. Part of it I guess.
