Dish Wally receiver question

I am installing Dish satellite system. I have installed one Wally receiver and I have a question I can't seem to get answered by Dish after two calls.

On the Wally receiver does the little green light stay on all the time? I can't turn the green power light off even by pushing the power button on the receiver. Is this normal or do I have a bad receiver.

Thanks stargazer. That is the info I was looking for. The green light will not go off on my receiver no matter what button I push on the receiver or the remote.

Doug...I'm new to this Dish/Wally system, but my Wally can be turned off by either pressing the On/Off button ("Hold for Reset"), or the same button, (upper left only; on the upper right the button only turns the TV on or off.), on the remote.
