Fine-Tipped stylus for iPad Air

Hello, all. I downloaded a note-taking app for my iPad Air recently and, of course, the fat-tipped stylus I've been using for highlighting is no good for handwriting on the screen. Can you recommend a stylus for writing you're happy with and where it may be purchased? Thanks....

40 bucks, Way cheaper than the ultimate pen noted above.

I will save you spending $40 bucks. I just tried it with the S-Pen from my Note tablet on my Galaxy (non-Note) phone - and no, the screen does not respond at all to the pen tip.

I have a program called " color note"

I also have installed a keyboard app, called Swype
Swype works with all apps that use the keyboard
Instead of peck typing, I just slide my finger from letters to letter spelling out the words

Works for the internet email and my note program, much faster than normal typing , just as fast, even faster than trying to write with clean penmanship
I get fast type written notes or email, or forum posts
Well it takes me longer to compose my thoughts than it does to Swype them down

Color notes is free, Swype cost $4.99 and is worth a lot more
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

The problem is most touch screens are now capacitance sensitive, so it takes a minimal size rubber or finger touch to make it work
Fine point, aka ballpoint size won't work
Hard plastic pointed stylus worked with pressure sensitive screens, and don't work on touch/capacitance sensitive screens

I'm afraid your are going to be stuck with your notes looking like the were written by crayon, Not pen

Maybe the app, will let you select the size of the pen/brush with, like drawing programs do

X2

This is why the Samsung Galaxy Note is a big deal - it uses a very fine tip stylus just like those used on pen tablet peripherals. It does this with a different technology in the screen than other tablets and phones use.

I learned to expand the screen and give my cheapy a better shot at the target when the going gets tough.

ONLY $75? I'll buy a dozen at that price! (no thanks, I'll just continue using pen and paper). :E

I agree with Chopper Bill (above) that these items cost too much. I looked at some on various sites on the Internet and it seems that the better ones can go for $30 or more. :E. I'll check Best Buy as MPColonel recommended. I checked at an office supply store today and no go. I found some fine-tipped styli at Walmart and the clerk assured me they would work on an iPad. Well, he was wrong (I'm not surprised)....

Yeah I got eBay stylus I get for 85 cents and the tip is kind of hard to do things at times. But I'll burn in you know where if I'll give 15 bucks for stick with a rubber tip.
