I wanna watch TV!

I just bought a new TT that has a 32" TV that I'd like to be able to use. Never really used the small TV in my old trailer, only played DVDs but watching my favorite shows and sports would be great.
I'm hooked up to Xfinity at home, no dish.
What is the simple and least expensive way to do this. I'm a real dummy on the high tech stuff. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for the input. It's a 110 TV so I'll need shore power. It never occurred to me that just the antenna might pick up enough stations to satisfy me. I'm sure it will vary by locations. Before I do anything, I think I'll give the antenna a try. If it doesn't do the job, I'll look into going to a dish.

Try turning it on and see if it works.

I just dropped Directv after 20 years and am switching to DISH.

They are offering 24 mos for $49 plus $7 addition per Joey, their wireless box. We only need one extra box. 190 channels plus either the NFL/college sports package or Netflix free one year.

If you join thru the Good Sams website phone number you also get $100 Visa card.

Another advantage of DISH is you can get HD on a Vucube.

You don't need to do anything or buy anything as long as you are OK watching the TV that is broadcast over-the-air (OTA). It is the highest quality picture available from any provider and there is a ton of content as long as you are within range of the TV towers (usually 60 miles or less depending upon the antenna type).

If you are actually asking what is necessary to connect to satellite TV or campground cable please let us know what you are wanting in your RV.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Crank up roof antenna
AIM it in the direction of TV towers
Turn TV amplifier/booster ON (ON button where antenna cable connects)
Set TV to 'air' 'antenna' in TV input menu
Set TV to scan...auto scan channels

Watch TV on 'available' channels (depends on signal strength/distance to tower----different at every place you go)

First you need to figure out the power situation.

Does it run off of 12 V ??
If not and it requires 110, you need shore power, a generator or an inverter.

Mine is 12 V and I have so far been semi-satisfied with over the air.
It depends on where you park and your "requirements".

If you have a tendency to stay in not so remote areas, you'll be surprised what good reception you can get with the standard batwing antenns on Over the Air broadcasts, since most everything is now broadcast in digital.

Hard to say. IF you go to a Campground with cable hookup. Just plug in. IF you are in an area where there are regular stations. Raise the antenna, and turn on the booster. good to go.

Dump X and either sign up for Dish or Direct. Then you can take the receiver from home and with a dish/tripod setup you can watch the same programming as at home. The other option is Dish pay as you go.
