The switch for wifi connectivity is a small button on the front of my computer that moves sideways for on/off. I have a couple of times inadvertently shut it off (button moved) when I moved my computer. Other have mentioned it, I would double check that.

I think this explains the other thread with the same Title.... It was an update to this thread. NOT a duplicate as I first thought (No I did not report it since I'd not yet seen both of them)

That thread said internet was out (No service) some computers and some routers as well "Phone home" (Ping a server somewhere) to check to see if they are connected and if they get no response... They are "Not Connected"

Being as I have both Computers and Routers that do this...... I'm all too familiar with it happening.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

With win 10 look to the lower right task bar there is a wifi emblem if it has a star over the bars then no internet. click on the wifi bars and find "your" internet ID, click always connect then connect.

Not sure what you mean by wifi connection was reset but, if you haven't already done it, reboot your router (unplug the power connector, wait 10 seconds, plug back in).

Ours does that occasionally and we just have to do a reconnect to the wifi point. Then we are good to go. Sometimes the campground or even our home service goes down and we either turn off our home router for a bit then back on and let it reboot and we are good to go again. On this trip we have had some trouble with the campground wifi service such as low signal or can not get address. Yuck.

Are you in "airplane mode?"

Or, did she hit the WIFI on-off button on the keyboard?
Look for a button with this image on it. Click it. Usually have to use it with the function key:

Make sure that the "Radio" switch is on. It turns off WiFi and Bluetooth radio hardware when you are on a plane. Should be on edge of laptop, usually with a symbol that looks like an antenna.

Can you verify that the laptop WiFi system is enabled? Most laptops have a hard switch to turn it on and off.

Is it a CG?

Ask you neighbors to see if they can still connect.
If you have a smartphone try to connect with it too.

AP is Access Point (the router that you're connecting to).

AP = Access point, is in WAP or Wireless Access Point, aka wifi device you are connecting to.

I've had multiple PCs and MACs where sometimes you just need to do a standard reboot to get the internal computer wireless service to work properly again.

If you have not done a standard reboot, do it now.
