If you have an Android phone of the right model (I do) there are two (at least) apps that might do it

Not all Universal Remotes are the same.. Some have codes others do not

Finally.. I have a rare brand TV here . Got it cheap cause it had no remote, I found a different make remote that 1: I already owned, and 2: Worked all but the INPUT SELECT function

Then I went on E-bay and got an original remote for 10 bucks.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios

I bet that's not totally true, the Harmony remotes are learning smart remotes, so all it takes is someone else with that same TV to go through the learning steps with their remote, then the programming codes get uploaded to the cloud, to later be downloaded by your Harmony. I have literally not run into ANYTHING (that uses infrared) that the harmony couldn't control

A little off topic, but when I was about 9, I was with my grandparents staying in some hotel/lodge thing in the middle of nowhere near the Minnesota/Canada boarder. The lodge would rent you VCR's, except all of them were worn out and broken, well long story short I fixed 3 out of 4 of the VCRs, and got free use of the VCR and all their rental tapes ๐Ÿ˜‰

So there's lots of truth to what you say, never underestimate a 9 year old :C

Love our Harmony One with touch screen. One touch and it turns on the TV, sound system, and satellite.

Lost my TV remote

You REALLY have to follow the directions on those replacement remotes.

When it says to wait until a light stops flashing before proceeding you better! Or you will have to start all over again.

They don't always work with the first number you use. They give you several numbers within the instructions to choose from. Sometimes you have to go down the list till you hit one that works. But I have never had one not work. On one of my TV's it was the very last numbers listed that worked.

BTW: did you open up your couch to check if your remote fell in that slot on the couch that goes to the storage area underneath? That's where I usually find mine likes to go. :W

If you are REALLY cheap, like me, a used Harmony 520 can be had for less than $20 these days, and they are still a FINE remote.
