Need Android app to point a directional cell antenna

As the subject states. I need to point a directional cell antenna on my Wilson amp to find the strongest cell tower. What app is available and easiest to use to accomplish this. Note I said an android and NOT an IPhone. Thanks in advance,, TED

Another great one is Open Signal . Has compass that actually aims to the tower you are connected to

Most Android phones have a status area found at the end of settings menu. The actual signal level is more accurate than bars of signal strength displayed.

Try Settings/About Phone/Status/Signal Strength. Your exact phone may vary.

Network signal info, this is a free Android app.

You open it it shows an expanded bars display (either Wi-Fi or "Mobile" or both) and a text page of info and a graph of historic signal strength..

NOTE: IT MUST LOG INTO A TOWER FOR INFO.

In most areas you can click on the map and it will show you where the tower is, and draw a line from you to it. NOTE Some towers are not where they claim to be, but they will be close

Once you have the general direction, this app may be able to help you Fine tune as well. (Back on the opening page)

Thanks YC 1, I found a signal strength meter from the settings screen. I will try that when I get back to my antenna at home base. Ted

I use an app called NETWORK SIGNAL, it is free in the android app market... just turn your antenna slowly and watch the signal reading (dBm) change.
