When I turn my turn signal on the initial blink it makes a loud sound through the sound system. It only happens when I turn on the blinker and only does it one time. It is not a continuous noise.

Three things to check:
1) Does your antenna lead run along the same wire bundle as your chassis signal lights. If so, remove the antenna from this wiring bundle and insulate it as much as possible.

2) Pull the radio head and attach a separate ground wire that is connected directly to a known good chassis ground.

3) Check signal light ground wires for good contact and possibly install additional ground wires at each signal light.

You didn't say what you were driving. My new MH was really annoying me with audio noise. Turn signal and passing vehicles. Then I finally discovered that the noise was coming from the rear view camera. Some of the new ones have microphones. Guess they wanted the person backing you up to be able to talk to you. Or so you could hear traffic noise. I just shut the microphone off. It's programable.

Had that problem one time!!!!!! Never had heard of it. Mechanic changed the spark plugs to a special kind - a kind that eliminates "interference"....never had the problem again. Now, given that I'm a woman and a lot of mechanics pull our legs, I ASSUME that's what he really did. ๐Ÿ™‚

Your mechanic put in resistor spark plugs. Nowadays that's about all they sell but back in at least the 70's or earlier they weren't that common if they were available at all.
WHEW! Thanks.... glad he didn't try to fool me. ๐Ÿ™‚ I was in a small town where I caught the local gas station/mechanic try to rip me off....didn't trust anyone after that.

Bad chassis ground or a bad speaker ground possibly.

Good luck!
