is it me or just my settings that show only 5 pages of posts when I sign in. it used to be much more than just 5 pages.

The number of pages shown depends on how many posts are made.. in my case I choose to display "New posts since last visit" so I may get as few as 2 or 3 if it's only been a few hours (my last pass of the night) or as many as 15 if it's been a long time (day and a half) this last happens when I am on the road, do a morning run, Drive all day, Eat, sleep, eat, drive and then do another run the next Evening.

I wonder if some folks park their participation in the forum when they park their RV at the end of their camping season?

Noticed that too. Used to be way more pages. I just thought that they were trying to save bandwidth by not carrying all that they used to.

But then again the postings are way down since I joined.

Over the last year I started thinking there was another forum that everyone has switched to?

You don't have direct control over the number of pages displayed. But you can indirectly affect the number of pages by changing "Show topics from:" and "Topics per page:" in My Preferences.

2oldman, when I log in to this site and look at the posts, to the right it tells you how many pages of posts you can look at. and by clicking your mouse you can go from page one to page two etc.

The new posts of the last 24 hours are shown. Yeah, there used to be up to 10 pages, but now typically 5-6. Participation must be down.

Clicking on active posts shows more pages. But still just for the last 24 hours.
