Rremoval of MegaBackup and MacKeeper from Mac

I thought I was updating a flash player. Anyway, MegaBackup and Mackeeper were the result rendering the computer unusable. I've searched the net for solutions, but can't find anything that works.

Is there RELIABLE software to remove this malware?

I use the AppCleaner app to remove programs.

Flash Player is used by lots of malware as the entry method into your computer.

There is no good reason to have flash, just get rid of it.

It worked on the MacKeeper! Thanks. Now I need to work on the MegaBackup.

I read up on it some more and found this. It's been updated. I'd advise reading through the reviews before deciding if you want to use the program. You'll need to know what version of OS X you are running. Looks like it's been a pain in the rear for more than a few people. Good luck!
