I have a several months old Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 that I use for email when we travel. All of a sudden, the email program that came preinstalled on the tab quit receiving emails (3 accounts) at the same time (3:10 am 21 April last update).. I can send emails from any of the 3 accounts, but they won't download any incoming emails??? I have restarted the Tab but still the same thing happens.. no incoming email.. No passwords were changed nor were any other settings changed from when it was working fine.. I don't want to reset the entire tab to new condition in hope that the Samsung email program will work as we are on the road. Has anyone downloaded and used an email app from the App Store that works good for them? We are currently traveling and would like to use the pad again for email instead of dragging out the trusty old laptop..
Thanks in advance

What is the app? I find the Gmail app works great, but I would have thought that it's already installed by default. If you aren't using the Gmail, try it. You can use it for any account, not just gmail, but you need to setup a Gmail account just as a means to enable the app.

This might work...
Go to "Settings".
Under "Accounts" select "Email".

Select one email account and select "Remove Account". You're just deleting the login info not the actual account.

Go back to the "Settings" & "Accounts" page and select "Add account". Re-enter your username and password.

If this solves your problem, repeat for any accounts giving you trouble.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for the suggestion... The cache is at 0b and I still can't sync the email accounts (Incoming)... I skirted this email program and transferred all IMAP/POP accounts that I had on the original email program to the Gmail Program... Now I am again sending and receiving everything... Thanks again for your help...
