Verizon charged us fr 15 fifteen gigs of data we did not use.
They said 6 hours of streaming video one day and three days later 9 hours.
None us do streaming video. No one was home one day and just me the other day.
It is MIfi.
When wife inquired, at Verizon store the Lady said she could not tell us what site the streaming video was from since it was a privacy issue.
They can't be telling the truth.
Nearest neighbor is over quarter mile away and I don't know if uses Verizon or a satellite service.
Mifi is password protected.
Is there a way to check any logs on the computers to find any streaming video connections and that much time?

Disable auto play for your browser and for Facebook. That stopped lots of my data use. You can google both your browser and Facebook to see how to stop the auto play.

you should be able to log into the settings/service page of the MiFi
and look at the router log and see data use

you have two possibilities a glitch in verizons billing
OR someone accessed you mifi using a directional antenna
while you are checking the mifi router info
change your password

the girl at the store can't help you

you need to call customer service and ask to speak to tech support
ask for a manager, tell them you need to resolve this issue
GET you mifi data info from the mifi BEFORE you call them
there is the possibility of a malfunction

since this is for home..turn it off when you leave home
heck pull the battery if you want to be sure its DEAD
when your not home
I can explain it to you.

Stop you are the customer or your wife is the customer and they can't discuss the site with you? That is a lie. Ask to talk to the manager. If you let this slide what will be next?
