SWM - Dome Plus Traveler SK3005

I am converting my SK3005 Winegard to SWM so that I can run a Genie H44. From the diagrams, I see that I will use all four ports for the 3005. I have a KVH tracking sat as well and would like to use it while on the road to listen to music channels.

I am wondering if there is a way to hook the tracking dome to the SWM8 so that I can use the receiver for the music channels.

The diagrams show that to use the tracking dome, I should connect both tracking dome ports to the first two SWM8 ports. I see that there are two flex ports. Can these be used to hook up the dome?

I realize that I can A/B switch the dome and the SK3005, but that will require that I change the sat configuration page on the H44 each time I switch between the two antennas.

I was hoping it would be easy, but I will probably use an A/B switch and reset the dish type and multiswitch on the H44 to use the tracking dome while on the road. When we get into port and lift the sk3005, we will switch back to the slim-5 and swm settings.

We just upgraded all of our electronics to 4k UHD and I was trying to make the switching automatic. We may just end up recording the music to a CF card and play that back during travels. We have active noise cancellation and our B&O system is very sweet driving down the road.

You will need to SWM8 switches but only one power supply. I know the SWM setup works with the King Domes and Winegard domes but I have not heard of anyone having success with a KVH. Let us know if you are able to it setup.

Instead of the hassles of trying to tie two antennas together why not go with Siruis/XM? BTW the dome is not compatible with the SWM system. It requires a different LNB
