T-Mobile Vs Verizon??

We currently have Verizon, but T-Mobile has a great plan for us slightly older folks. With the "55 Plus plan", you get 2 Lines of Unlimited Talk, Text, and Data for $60/Month, and that price includes all fees and taxes, which is a significant savings over Verizon.

How many of you guy have T-Mobile, and have you had any problems with coverage?

Go to a Verizon store and see if they can find you a cheaper plan. Tell them you are shopping around. Different stores will find different prices. I don't know what you pay now but there is always a chance they can find something better for you.
They cut my bill a LOT when I did this.

x2 Rarely do I not have a Verizon signal and we travel coast to coast

We switched to T-Mobile and then switched back to Verizon the next day. Coverage for T-Mobile was terrible.

It was a hassle, but ultimately it didn't cost us any $$$.

As others have said - within the city the two are often comparable (T Mobile actually better coverage at my home) but once your on the road T Mobile is often a disappointment. I switched from Verizon to Straight Talk using Verizon towers for a few years and have recently switched to Xfinity Mobile (using Verizon Towers) and don't pay anything because our non WiFi data usage less than 1 gb.

Just switched from AT&T to Xfinity Mobile after 4 years of putting up with AT&T's terrible coverage. (Stayed with AT&T that long because they had the cheapest prepaid plan.)

Xfinity uses the Verizon network plus they have 18 million wifi hotspots that are connected to automatically for data. (You only use cellular data when not in the vicinity of a hotspot - keeps your bill lower.)

They have a plan that gives you unlimited voice and text plus shared data at $12 per GB with the first 100MB free each month.

The "kicker" is that you have to be an Xfinity internet customer to get their mobile service. (We were already a "Triple Play" Xfinity customer.)

We have T-Mobile phone and tablet. Coverage is good....period.
