In the last week my Verizon/gmail is unable to send emails to a phone number at vtext.com

Anyone else seeing this?

I wonder, for those of you that have problems with this form of communication, send from email to phone text,
Are you in your carriers designated coverage area ?
Or
Are you roaming,. Such as getting Verizon on Sprint tower or att on TMobile tower
Knowing this might help clarify the issue
Your phone should have and indicator, either on home screen or in settings
Also roaming can be turned of in settings/networks,
If in doubt, as a test temporarily turn off roaming , if you loose cell service, you are roaming on sn affiliate tower, not using your carrier owned tower,
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

This is why I switched to Boost Mobile. It runs on AT&T & T-Mobile and everything works great. Moreover, I can always call the boost mobile phone number (I found it on this website https://boost-mobile.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) and solve any issue within a few minutes. No regrets.

Their customer no-service is pretty much that.

What I find perplexing is, does no one else but me, the end user, see this pile of errors? I mean, they have to be created somewhere, and nobody sees them? And help links that don't work..!

The messages are starting to work, but they're being delayed anywhere from 20 minutes to many hours. Verizon is not responding.

Getting any help at all from Google is so far, impossible.

I did a email text to myphonenumber@vtext.com
And it worked
I sent a test gmail email to a friend's AT&T cellphone number
(Using the info posted above)
And they received it

It's funny.. I can send these message to my phone, and when they don't work, get a ton of error messages back, day after day, but nobody notices.

I can go to Amazon and browse for a generator, and soon my FB page will be deluged with ads from generator sellers.

I use it for sending a grocery list to my phone, and conversing with the SO to her phone from my computer.

Now I'm wondering if people can do this to other providers like ATT/Sprint etc from gmail.

Well, how cool is that? It just worked for me using AOL mail (don't laugh!)

I used outlook and the message went through fine. Looks like it's Gmail. I've sent a screen shot of the error messages to their Feedback. Hope somebody reads it.
