Where can I find a 12 VDC 32 inch or larger TV

The TV can have a "brick" or straight 12 volt.
If it does have a brick, what kind of vary of voltage can it have? Does not have to bee exactly 12 volt?

I just saw today Walmart has a 50 inch smart Vizio 4K TV for $295 shipped or pickup in store.
So prices are coming down.

I run a 24 inch TV, a 32 inch TV and my dish receiver which is powering an automatic portable antenna. I power all this at the same time if needed from a 300 watt Go Power pure sine wave inverter. I ran a dedicated circuit from the inverter to the entertainment area and to an outside outlet to run all this. It works great. No more running my generator just to watch a little TV. I have 2 - 6V golf cart batteries which power this all great.

yes, Jensen makes 12V TV's.

many of the others even though they plug into the wall, run off 18ish volts, likely the same brick used for the majority of laptop PC's which often use 18ishV chargers.

so one could likely use a laptop charger with 12VDC in and the correct mating plug for the TV. I looked at that and decided to just keep using the inverter I installed in the trailer.

If the TV comes wired for 12VDC and can be plugged into a 12V outlet it will have an internal regulator.

You are correct about the converter voltage. I run my converter & 15+ volts when off grid and my 120 volt with power supply in cord TVs have survived. Maybe it's because the wall wart is rated for 14 volts, not 12.
I have actually seen some TVs with in cord power supplies rated at 17 volts.

This is a case where you should err on the side of getting a good TV such as Samsung, Sony, or LG. Forget the 12V hookup and go with a small inverter (as previously mentioned).

I had a brick that fed 12.4 volts into the tv and I ran it direct on battery power. If the battery got low the tv would give a beep tone too annoying to continue. When charging and the voltage climbed to 14.2+ the screen would get very bright and I thought it may burn out. 300 watt sine wave inverter and no more issues.

Small inverter makes for easier installation.

I agree with Chuck, get a 400 watt inverter. They're cheap and will allow you to pick any 32" TV.

The brick (inverter)also acts as a regulator so by passing the brick into another 12VDC sources will give you unregulated 12VDC not sure how much tolerance the TV would have but the RV converter will put out over 14V at times.

If the TV comes wired for 12VDC and can be plugged into a 12V outlet it will have an internal regulator.

I did 12 volt TVs a few years ago. Works out great. No inverter to turn on & off. Just sit in your easy chair and push the TV power button, on the remote.
Prices are cumming down. When in the big box stores, just look for a power brick in the power cord. It will probably work on 12 volts.
