How long, how long?

I am not sure if this is the proper place to ask this question, but here it goes. My wife and I used to be members of the Good Sam Club years ago. When we joined we got a sticker/badge for our motorhome to tell others we were members, an official members card, and a lot of other helpful things in a welcoming packet delivered to our home. Well we joined GS at our local Camper World, got a temp card and that has been it. It has been over a month and nothing has come our way. We used the temporary card to get a discount at an RV park this week, so it works, but we joined other groups and have gotten welcoming packets and such from them. Does GS still issue official welcoming packets and ID cards anymore. And if so how long did it take them to get you the stuff?

Below the link for 'view profile' it shows you are a life member.
When I go into your profile it doesn't show anything.

I'm not a GS member. Definitely not a life member.
Hopefully someone can find the problem.

I posted the problem in the "Forum Technical Support" section. Hopefully someone will look into it and resolve the problem.

Restarted my PC - does the same thing.

What do you show as my membership in my profile?

I see your profile lists you as a Life Member so it seems that the GS Club is aware of you. Maybe they have the mailing address wrong???

I'm apparently missing something, where does it show the OP is a life member?

Click on "View Profile" in the left margin in his post. When his profile appears look just below the photo of his RV at the top. It shows a little symbol and the words "Life Member".

Kind of odd since in his post it does not indicate he is a Life Member.:h

I just looked at the profiles of other posters in this thread, including you, and all indicate they are Life Members.

Looks like something is wrong. Maybe it picks up my membership and puts it in all the profiles I look at.

I criticize them when I think it is warranted. But my cards that I just renewed came in 3 weeks along with my $25 coupon. I'm happy

It just takes awhile, for some reason. Renewal notices are quite timely, however.

We had the same problem. We joined GS at Camping World this past March, but didn't get our cards until Jume. It was posting a comment in the GS forum here that got the ball rolling 6 weeks into the process. Apparently, Camping World has a habit of not following through on their part of the membership program. Try reposting your question in the GS forum. They will look you up and it will take 6 weeks for your card to arrive after that.

In the meantime, you will get tons of advertisements in the mail from GS with cards for other programs they offer. 😕

You would probably get a better response by posting this in the Good Sam Club section of the Dear Marcus section. AFAIK you should get a package, but the GS club is often pretty slow.
