Parking in front of my house

Just got a parking ticket for leaving my 40ft. Parked on the street in front of my house. I was parked leaga)y, and not living in it. Normally leave it there between trips.

Are there any signs on the road stating parking is not allowed.?

So, assume for sake of argument, that parking your rv/trailer in the street is against the law. And suppose a neighbor calls law enforcement to complain, and individual gets ticketed. Some of you are suggesting that it warrants retaliation against said neighbor (even if retaliation is legal)?

Of course, I would try first to approach said TT/Rv owner and ask nicely if he would comply with city ordinance and not park on the street (assuming that is the case). Of course, if said owner is a jerk and pitches a fit, and I call the police, then it will be clear that I called, and if I lived next to a few of you guys, I guess I would be setting myself up for retaliation.

(sound of sharp buzzer) WRONG ANSWER. A co-worker of mine has a friend who is currently sitting in jail as a result of this type of one-upmanship. Neighborly feuds become deadly way too often. If it's wrong for the neighbor to harass then why is it right for you to do so?

I'd be interested in what the ticket said as well. Perhaps there's an ordinance the OP is unaware of. I have no idea of my town ordinances as we always kept ours in the back yard.
